A view the platform itself counts as a view on a video you submitted and we approved — on TikTok, that is TikTok’s own definition of a view. We check the public count on the link you gave us and record it against your account by hand. Views on videos we have not approved do not count.
A family that installs RootLock through your link or code, starts a subscription, and is still paying standard price once every promotion on their account has ended. A free trial that is cancelled before it converts pays nothing. Month-to-month and annual plans pay different commissions — the current amounts are shown at the top of this page and in your dashboard.
Two ways. Your tracked link sends viewers to the App Store and records the click against your account. And your referral code can be typed by a parent on the “Name your family” screen while they set up RootLock — that ties the family directly to you. Both show up in your dashboard.
No. There is no follower minimum. We pay on qualified views, so a small account with a video that performs earns exactly the same as a large one.
Honest, specific, parent-to-parent. Show the actual problem — a kid on their phone at 1am, a teen who did not answer, a first solo drive — then show what RootLock does about it. Your Content Kit has hooks, full scripts and clips you can drop straight into your edit.
Be accurate. Do not promise features RootLock does not have, do not describe it as a way to spy on someone without their knowledge, and do not target children. Anything misleading gets the video rejected. The Creator Program Agreement spells this out.
Earnings accrue as we verify views and confirm subscribers. Once your available balance clears the minimum, request a payout from the dashboard and we send it to your PayPal, Venmo, Cash App or Zelle. You are paid as an independent contractor and are responsible for your own taxes.
Yes. You earn on your own views and separately on every creator you bring in, credited once their first video is approved.
